I know people are reading into Batherson being in town and appearing the most recent RedBlacks game, but he has a contract. I'm sure if Formenton were under contract, he would probably be in town too. Although granted, people are inevitably going to read into the fact that he still has not signed an extension yet.
Are the players themselves allowed to say anything? I'm unclear whether they received legal advice to stay quiet, or if it's a choice to keep the heat off their peers. The lack of an extension is the most troubling thing to me, because I feel like it would've been taken care of months ago had this cloud not been hanging over him.
