I understand the frustrations for subscribers there. I think you would have gone almost two months without any Senators-specific content being published there. I haven't spoken with anyone there since Mendes' departure, so I have no informed idea of what their plan(s) are for the Ottawa hub. Their prospect work and general coverage is pretty damn good if you like other sports, so I won't cancel my sub, but it would be disappointing if Ottawa's coverage suffered there. It used to be my one-stop shop for Sens coverage, hockey coverage and baseball coverage.
In regards to Cousins, there are certainly some positive things to say about him. There's certainly utility there, especially with a cheap deal. He seems to be a really well-liked guy within the dressing room too. I'm just curious as to why his defensive value has plummeted after being a relatively strong contributor for many seasons prior.
